Rules and Safety
Our priority is to provide each guest with a safe and enjoyable experience. All staff is fully trained to use the equipment and to follow safety procedures at all times. We ask our guests to comply with instruction, and refrain from horseplay. Your safety is our top priority.

Weather
Ziplines and tube runs operate in most weather conditions. However, in the event of a thunderstorm, high winds or heavy rain, we may be forced to temporarily close. We wish to ensure your visit with us is an enjoyable one and should the weather impede your outing we will make every effort to reschedule any group outings.

Tubing
The Chicopee Tube run is approved by the Technical Standards and Safety Association.

Area Rules
· Children must be at least 4 years of age
· Children must be at least 42 inches tall
· Children under the age of 8 are required to wear a CSA approved helmet such as a hockey or bike helmet. Please bring your own helmet. There are helmets available to rent at Guest Services if needed.

Running shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Flip flops are not permitted.

For Your Safety
Riders must sit in the middle of the tube, hold handles, feet forward and up, leaning backward with their buttocks off the bottom of the tube.
· Observe signage
· Follow instructions
· Look both ways before crossing chutes
· Do not attempt to retrieve objects from chute. Please notify a staff member.

Zip Lines
Zip Lines are designed to exceed industry safety standards. All personal protection equipment, harness, helmet and lanyards are fully inspected daily, as is the Zip Line.

Our Zip Line has been engineered and designed by ANCAM Technologies a firm that prides itself in Guest experience and safety. We are also approved by the Technical Standards and Safety Association.

Area Rules
Children must be at least 5 years of age to ride.
· Gliders 17 years and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.
· Gliders 10 years and under MUST be accompanied by a participating adult.
· Each guest MUST sign a waiver upon arrival. Please note that individuals under the age of 17 MUST have a parent/guardian present on site to consent on the waiver. You may review a copy of the waiver prior to arrival. Please note that a downloadable prior signed copy of the waiver is not acceptable. Waiver must be signed on site at Guest Services.
· You are not permitted to hold a camera while riding. Cameras should either be in a case with a strap that can go around your neck or be tied to your harness, or must fit inside a pocket.
· If necessary, a small bag that can be strapped to the body, such as a fanny pack is permitted. No backpacks please. Lockers are available to rent.
For cool days in early spring and late fall, some guests like to wear gloves. As you still need the use of your hands, only gloves will do and no mitts.

Running shoes or hiking boots are REQUIRED. Sandals are not permitted.

For your safety

· Adhere to instructions offered during the on site orientation

Each Zip Line Guest is provided with the following:
· Personal protection equipment- harness complete with guidance when strapping on
Helmet
· Safety lanyards
· Zip line pulley

For your comfort sports wear is strongly recommended.
