Park Maintenance Head

Position involves a lot of pre-season hands on assembly and visual inspections of Park Attractions. But no one would expect that this one individual could carry the entire workload. Assistance is provided by Outside Supervisor, in directing the Park Maintenance Head position. This is a visible symbol for all Employees when taking the Lead for Attraction Safety and ensuring a Safe Ride, Glide & Slide experiences. 
 

Specific Duties will Include:

  1. Responsible for verbalizing the Attraction experience, projecting confidence and supportive of answering Guest inquiries about the Attraction experience.

  2. Assists in repairs of Zip Lines systems and associated equipment, in cooperation with qualified staff when it comes to maintaining Scissor Lifts, Spring Packs and checking electrical safety circuits.

  3. Ensures the Park grounds around Attractions are kept attractive and litter free providing Guest environment.

  4. Assist with other maintenance activities such as the repair and maintenance of non-licensed vehicles, operation of grass cutting equipment and general infrastructure repairs.

  5. Responsible for the safe operation of the following Attractions and Installations, this includes conducting inspections using the Park’s soft-ware program Edge Auditor.

  6. As with all positions at the Park a personal Training Log is a requirement & must be completed before actual operation of Attractions.
     

Qualifications: 

Working knowledge of Amusement Devices codes would be an asset.  Must be capable of climbing and working in height situations as well as having eyesight able to determine colour differentials. Has an exceptionally high level of safety awareness and makes the experience fun for Guests as well as fellow staff members. Will be required to attend, participate, and successfully complete a pre-season training seminar on TSSA regulatory requirements.

Wage Range:

$16.75 - $17.00
