Event Co-ordinator
The Event Co-ordinator is responsible to the Administrative Supervisor. This self-directed individual is responsible for managing booking systems, assist in the planning & scope of Wedding Events. Individual ensures the Park’s Safe Workplace Policies are applied as required for Guest & Staff Safety.
Specific Duties will Include:

The following abilities are critical to the position of Event Co-ordinator and should be a combination of the following:

Responsible and accountable for booking and managing tracking systems for records, accounts receivable and group confirmations.

Assisting in the set-up & monitoring wedding event preparation & activities to ensure that the couple and guests are satisfied.

Involved in the set-up of Day Lodge, event Tableware, as well as inspecting washrooms, balcony facilities, and grounds. This to ensure that these areas meet the event high standard of maintenance as well as couples' requirements.

Continue to develop the baseline performance measures for building Corporate, Day Camp & Birthday Party business during winter, spring, summer and fall sales seasons and help with growth of Facility/Venue Rental.

Responsible for Supervision of Guest Services Cashiers & Representatives assisting in the educational process of seasonal staff becoming more knowledgeable on Zip Line and packages offered by the Park.

Grow the Park’s contact data base increasing overall accounts.

Communicate with staff to ensure information sharing and excellence in Guest Services.

To ensure a high level of professionalism in all contact with guests and staff.
Qualifications:
The following abilities are critical to the position of Event Co-ordinator:

Guest Service experience is an asset.

Strong organization skills and be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Ability to adapt to the daily challenges associated with the operation.

Smart Serve certification is a requirement.

Standard First Aid, AED & CPR an asset
Wage Range: $18.50 - $19.50
