Program Co-Ordinator

If you are interested in a future that involves hospitality and tourism then consider this a position as a Guest Service Representative. If you have an “outgoing personality” and like working with people who are the Park’s Guests, this position is idea for you.

 

Position involves the issuance of harness gear, managing traffic flow and coordinating group as well as Guest bookings.

 

Specific Duties will Include:

  1. Adhere to proper procedures to issue Zip Line Harnesses when it comes to weight and height.

  2. To ensure a high level of professionalism in all your contact with Guests and staff. To work in compliance with the Health and Safety regulations, follow and obey the guidelines set forth in pre-season training.

  3. Responsible and accountable for delivery the daily operations of the Customer Service Department Ticket sales, Group bookings, Helmet & Locker rental sales, while maintaining an Attractive Guest Services environment.

  4. Responsible and accountable for following proper cash handling operations and day/shift end procedures. 

  5. Responsible and accountable for responding to customer problems, concerns and complaints and, within the guidelines set by the Administrative Supervisor, and finding solutions to Guest enquiries.

  6. Responsible for responding to all incoming phone calls and emails, and ensuring that all are answered in a prompt, professional manner.

  7. Assist with marketing data collection, promotional initiatives and other Guest orientated initiatives.

Qualifications: 

Will be required to attend, participate and successfully complete a pre-season training seminar.

 

The following abilities are critical to the position of a Guest Services Representative:

  • Relevant computer skills including POS operation.

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to build foster and sustain a positive public image.

  • Knowledge of proper cash handling procedures.

  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to adapt to the daily challenges associated with the operation.

  • Standard First Aid, AED & CPR an asset

  • Bilingual French & English an asset

 

Wage Range:

$16.50 - $17.00

Start Date: July 2023

End Date: September 2023

 

This position involves working scheduled hours that may include day, evening, weekends and statutory holidays.
