Lift Operator

Park is looking for Operators who relate exceptionally well with Guests. Have an exceptionally high level of safety awareness and makes the experience fun for Guests as well as fellow staff members. It is desirable that the Operator possess strong communications skills and has experience in a similar Recreational Activities or Resort Operations. 

Park is seeking candidates who are looking for 34 hours of work per week if possible. Chicopee Tube Park support and focuses attention on Workers as well as Guest safety. This means adhering to by Park policies as posted.

Specific Duties will Include:

  1. Responsible for verbalizing the ride experience, projecting confidence and supportive of answering Guest inquiries around the around the Winter Tubing experience.

  2. Responsible for removal of Snow from Park Deck and Walkway areas.

  3. Be capable of determining equipment malfunctions and resolving basic operational problems.

  4. To work in compliance with the Health and Safety regulations, follow and obey the guidelines set forth in pre-season training.

  5. Responsible for the daily opening inspections of Conveyor Lift and Slope Safety Devices.

  6. Communicate with fellow staff members to ensure information sharing and excellence in Customer Service.

 

Will be required to attend, participate and successfully complete a pre-season training seminar on Conveyor Lift & Winter Tubing Slope Operations.

Qualifications: 

The following abilities are critical to the position of Lift Operator:
  1. Have previous experience in operating equipment is an asset.


  2. Ability to adapt to the daily challenges associated with the operation.


  3. Build foster and sustain a positive public image.


  4. Working knowledge of a Resort environment is an asset. 
    Be an effective team member.


  5. Realize, respect and appreciate Guest concerns with the activity.


  6. First Aid qualifications an asset

 

Wage Range: $15.60 - $17.25

This position involves working scheduled hours that may include day, evening, weekends, and statutory holidays.
