Kitchen Grill & Fry Cook
Candidates need to show skills and experience when operating a Grill & Deep Fat Fryer in the Kitchen. Individuals must be available to work time periods of high Guest demands which are weekends as well as Christmas & March Breaks. Candidates must be able to take direction from Short Order Cooks as well as Food & Beverage Manager.
Chicopee Tube Park support and focuses attention on Workers as well as Guest safety. This means adhering to by Park policies as posted.

Specific Duties will Include:

Must be capable of maintaining and service daily operational requirements of both Grill & Deep Fat Fryer.

Responsible for the proper cooking and preparation of meats, chicken, fish and serving of food portions as menu requires.

Responsible for the proper cooking and preparation of anything that needs to be deep fried. Examples are french fries, chicken fingers, onion rings all a cooking requirement.

Ensure that the food service area is operated and maintained in-with food handling requirements.

Responsible for re-stocking vending machines moving product from “Walk-in Cooler & Freezer” to Kitchen storage areas.

Follow daily end of shift clean-up procedures when it comes to proper storing food, cleaning equipment and shutdown of Kitchen.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Fully vaccinated staff are a critical preventatives and control measures for preventing the hazard of COVID-19 in the workplace. Cooking & Serving staff required to wear masks as safety requirement.

Qualifications:
The following abilities are critical to the position of Kitchen Grill & Fry Cook:

Previous cooking experience on a Char-grill or flattop-grill a requirement.

Must have a current Food Handlers course certification.

Ability to lift to upwards 40lbs, stand and walk for long periods
-
Able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Ability to adapt to the daily challenges associated with the operation.
-
Be aware of Exhaust Hood fire suppression system function & use.
-
Working knowledge of a Resort Kitchen environment is an asset.
Wage Range: $15.60 - $17.25
